What happens when you run out of marshmallows while sitting around the campfire in early November?
Peeps are marshmallows!
Here our poor Ghostie Peep is stabbed and ready to roast.
As we roast the Peep, he starts to swell up. We are careful not to get him to close to the fire. Don't want to burn the sugar coating..
The ghostie Peep is ready to eat. He has more than quadrupled in size. You must be careful cuz at this point he can easily fall off the skewer. His sugar coating has become a crusty sweet shell and his marshmallow insides are fluffy, gooey, warm sweetness.
